An incredible opportunity to rethink an already strong Mid-Century Modern design. We opened up the kitchen and added an east-facing sitting room that extends the kitchen and dining space while creating a buffer between the main public area of the house and the large backyard.
Floor to ceiling glass takes advantage of the morning light and rolling landscape to create a more unified flow between the kitchen, living, dining, and outdoor entertaining spaces. The reworked kitchen is now better suited for hosting, while fitting seamlessly into the home’s original composition.

“I believe that the way people live can be directed a little by architecture.”
