This 20th Century home’s transformation was the result of an exquisite collaboration between designers, local woodworkers, and an artist client. The space is dynamic and modern, yet informal and approachable to reflect the personality of the homeowner. With custom Zebra Wood cabinets, frosted glass pantry doors, and parquet and soapstone counters, there is visual interest throughout the kitchen that seamlessly combines form and function.
In contrast to the kitchen’s splash of warm color, the rest of the first floor palette whispers tranquil, soft-hued tones. Floor to ceiling windows cast brilliant light into the room, and frame the garden view nicely across the length of the home.
“Give people a different way of looking at their surroundings. That’s art to me.”
