About The Position
As Lead Carpenter you’ll use your knowledge and passion to steward teams through the build phase of each project - whether a residential remodel, addition, or new build. You naturally serve the needs of your team while leading by example; carried out with equal measures skill and enthusiasm.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead a build team through construction projects with an emphasis on quality and craftsmanship
- Review, approve, and follow project specs and estimates
- Problem solve construction challenges while working with designers to maintain artistic and aesthetic qualities of the project
- Coordinate daily tasks to keep projects on time, on budget, and within client expectations
- Expertly juggle carpenter, contractor, and client needs
- Provide positive training and direction for your team as needed
- Follow industry standard construction methods and best practices across all projects
Skills Needed

- 5+ years of relevant experience in the construction industry, focusing on custom residential remodeling and new builds
- 2+ years experience as residential lead carpenter or other relevant management position
- An eye for design and appreciation of aesthetic
- Artisan level carpentry skills preferred
- Skilled working as an on-the-job leader
- Experience working with clients, subcontractors, and designers
- Reliable transportation
