About The Position
We are looking for a talented Residential Construction Estimator with strong design and organizational skills. Using collaboration and shrewd problem solving skills, you’ll balance our client’s specific needs with supplier and subcontractor expectations throughout each project - from start to finish.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Own the estimates and financials of projects from ballpark lead pricing through the build process
- Confirm subcontractor pricing accuracy, and request bids or bid updates if scope changes
- Source and nurture long-term relationships with high quality suppliers, contractors, and manufacturers
- Work closely with the rest of the team to ensure a complete and accurate understanding of the project’s scope and intent
- Present and update budgets and schedules regularly, tracking project progress and identifying any cost or supply issues as they arise
- Foster strong working relationships with clients as the financial face of their project
- Reconcile job allowances
Skills Needed

- Minimum 3-5 years experience writing detailed estimates
- Deep understanding of pricing documents
- Proficient in building software applications (Co-Construct or BuilderTrend, and Excel)
- Hands-on experience in residential remodeling
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
